Launch 2022-23

On 5 April 2024, the 93rd edition of méLAWnge was formally launched in the College Auditorium. The event was graced by the presence of (Retd.) Chief Justice Dr S. R. Radhakrishnan of the Bombay High Court, whose distinguished judicial career and post‑retirement advocacy in legal education and prison reform lent profound gravitas to the occasion. This year’s edition debuts several new segments, including an exclusive interview with the current Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, the launch of “Her Legal Insights” by senior advocate Gayatri Singh, and the introduction of “Grassroots Gazette” featuring Adv Raghunath Paranajpe which chronicles the on‑the‑ground experiences of a trial‑court lawyer. Student contributors also took to the stage to deliver readings from their submissions, weaving a tapestry of reflections, legal commentary, and creative expression that encapsulated the 2022–23 academic year. Physical copies were distributed following the ceremony, allowing attendees to be part of the college’s legacy through ownership of this enduring and evolving legal‑literary initiative. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by chief student editor Anoushka Lokhande and deputy student editor Sarthak Das.
