KnockOut! 2019-20

Knock-Out! is the flagship event of the Magazine Committee, featuring an annual debate between two teams of two speakers each—one current GLC student and one ex-student advocate. They engage in intense deliberation on the issue at hand to win the audience's vote. The winner is decided by a prominent legal expert serving as Moderator, along with audience vote. The topic for this year’s edition was ‘State Your Priorities: Do Individual Rights Triumph State Interest?’. Representing the Proposition were Ex-student, Advocate Mr. Tushad Kakalia and final year student Ms. Bhavna Srinivasan, while Ex-student, Advocate Ms. Rima Desai and final year student Mr. Avirup Mandal represented the Opposition. Senior Advocate, Dr. Birendra Saraf was the esteemed Moderator for the debate.
