KnockOut! 2018-19

Knock-Out! is the flagship event of the Magazine Committee, featuring an annual debate between two teams of two speakers each—one current GLC student and one ex-student advocate. They engage in intense deliberation on a contemporary issue to win the audience's vote. The winner is decided by a prominent legal expert serving as Moderator, along with audience vote. The topic for this year was 'Our Pride is in Your Court Now: Is the abrogation of Section 377 the Duty of a Judicially Active Supreme Court or a Competent Parliament?' Ex-student, Advocate Ms. Sakshi Bhalla and final year student Mr. Janak Panicker represented side Proposition, while ex-student, Advocate Mr. Kunal Katariya and final year student Mr. André Charan. The debate was Moderated by esteemed Advocate Ms. Flavia Agnes
